We offer you a “Hard To Find” Ruger M77 M77R Tang Safety Bolt Action Rifle in 220 Swift with the 24” Standard Weight Barrel Made In 1980.
This Sturm Ruger M77R wears a 24 inch standard weight barrel with an excellent bore. The finish on the barrel shows a few small freckling spots but overall is in very fine condition. The bluing on the receiver is in excellent condition as shown. The bottom metal shows a few minor marks as you can see. The checkered Walnut stock is solid with no chips, cracks or repairs. It wears the factory red pad and shows some small marks and dings as pictured. The most distracting marks are in the left hand side checkering panel. The left side of the barrel is marked “220 SWIFT” and with a circled “PR” proof. The top of the barrel is marked with Ruger’s 2-line warning address. The left side of the receiver is marked “74-70414” and “RUGER M77”. The bottom of the bolt body was hand-scribed "70414" with an electro-pencil. It wears the original high gloss factory scope rings. In them sits a Bushnell scope as pictured. Most 220 Swift rifles were manufactured with the Varmint – heavy barrels. This one has the standard Sporter barrel and overall is in very fine condition.
***PLEASE NOTE*** The white in the barrel markings is grease pencil. It will come off with a rag, gun oil and elbow grease.
This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL for $60. It will be shipped in a foam lined double walled cardboard box that we have manufactured for us so that your gun arrives safe.
