Description:
SALE PENDING RICK C FL. 1/9/23 Layaway
These excellent and unique carbines were lst produced in 1964 and were distinquished by several special features: a zytle vent rib, 3/4 lenght handsom walnut stock with monte carlo comb and the L shapped dog leg bolt resembling the old Enfield Mil rifles from the early 1900's. These were joined by successive variations later including its more plain sister; the Mohawk (K Mart Guns which which had no rib), the magnums (we have one...see sellers other items) chambered in 6.5 rem and 350 Rem) and later the 660's with no rib. Many calibers were offered including the very rare 223. This one chambered in 222 would make an exceptional coyote truck gun with an overall lenght of only 37". These were also known for excellent accuracy and a variation of thse were used in the XP 100 pistol in 221 Fireball (We also have a Kimber rifle chambered in 221 Fireball...see sellers other items)
The condition of this one is good plus...but not quite excellent. Metal is not far from perfect but normal handling marks for a rifle that is over 50 yrs od on the good looking American Walnut stock keep it from being rated higher. Most of the small blems on the stock could easily be touched up with a little True Oil. A thin pad has been added. LOP to end of wood is 13 1/2, LOP to end of pad is 14 1/4.
Scope shown (Period correct Weaver K8 8x) is NOT inlcuded but may be purchased by the buyer of the rifle for an addtional 100.00 or by anyone interested if whomever buys the rifle does not want it for $ 175.00
Barrel lenght is 18 12. Rear site removed and missing to make room for scope clearance. These are avail from many sources.
Shipping is  $ 59.00
