*****WAS $2450 Now $2000*******Up for sale is a beautiful Winchester 43 Deluxe in the desirable 22 Hornet. This rifle is fitted with the pistol cap and checkering that the special models received. It's fitted with Weaver mounts and a Bushnell 4x scope. This rifle is original and there has been no work done to the wood, receiver or barrel. It has the hooded, ramped front sight and the original rear sight. The bore is in excellent condition, the wood is great and the bluing is excellent. It comes with 2 Hornet magazines and sling mounts. The rifle is highly accurate with the Remington 45-grain HP factory load. This is agreat shooter and collectible for all Winchester pre-64 enthusiasts!
These rifles were made from 1948-1953 but in 1950 Winchester factory drilled/tapped and improved the receiver and bolt. Of these rifles the most popular caliber was the 22 Hornet. The Special model has the deluxe checkering and pistol cap. Theses are hard to come by in its original condition.
