#1212A SHARPS 1874 SPORTING RIFLE, 40-70 Sharps Str., SN 1567XX, 28” heavy oct. bbl., DST, extra quality burl wood in stock, nickel plated crescent buttplate, vernier tang sight, flip up rear bbl. sight, hooded aperture front sight, 98% bbl. blue starting to turn brown, casehardening on receiver starting to turn gray, exc. bore, very strange gun with no bbl. markings, marked “C. Sharps Patent” on left side of receiver, no markings on the sight, factory letter. $6500
