S&W Model 27-2 fitted with a 8 /38 inch pinned barrel, pinned patridge target front sight, adjustable rear sight, checkered Cocobolo wood target grips with S&W medallions, color case hardened finished target hammer, color case hardened finished target trigger, is blue finished, and chambered in .357 Magnum. This 1978 vintage Model 27 is in excellent original condition, retaining 98-99% original blue, with only minor thinning on the left side of the barrel at the muzzle, a drag line on the cylinder, and a rub mark/ding on the right side of the trigger guard. The bore looks as new, is bright with sharp rifling, and the action functions perfectly. The grips match well and are in excellent condition also, retaining all of their original finish, again with only a few very minor handling marks/dings. Comes with its original mahogoney presentation case, with a decent liner (a minor crack at the lower grip location on the bottom liner and a minor crack at the muzzle of the barrel on the upper liner), cleaning rod, bore brush, and all paper-work, sorry, no screwdriver or bore mop.
