This saddle shows original, roller boarder stamping on all major parts. The saddle seat measurements are 15" seat / Fenders 14" long and Antique hand made wooden Western doghouse stirrups 5" wide x 5" high. The left stirrup has a vintage repair. This repair is very sound and we choose to clean and check it. We have left it as a testament of years of service once provided. This saddle has been completely restored by "Montana Ed". The beautiful condition of this saddle does not show its true age. It has a scant few handling marks from daily use. It is ready to ride with only the addition of cinches for its double rigging. A classic Old West Cowboy Saddle that would add an air of authenticity to any western decor. The leather tie strings have all been replaced. There is litterly no surface cracking a great rarity on these old saddles. The tree is solid and true. The fenders are well preserved and the tooling well-defined. New fleece has been added and is thick and very usable. All stitching has been redone through the original stitching holes and is tight and secure. You can count on this saddle to provide another century of service. I find no makers name on this saddle, and it was obviously done by a talented saddler. To have a saddle like this made new today would cost you $3000.00 plus. SAVVY SAYIN! Admire a big horse. Saddle a small one. Payment: Item, can be ordered on line with a credit card or paypal on our sight. Just Google (riverjunction) and type in the River Junction Trade Co. item number (6322) in the search box.
