Description:
This is an excellent example of a rare Walther PP issued to the Nazi police force in 1944. This one is all matching and has a police "Eagle C" marking on the left side of the frame. Only about 2,000 of this variation were made, as opposed to the more common "Eagle F" variant (about 5,000 made). This one comes as a rig with a 1939-dated police-style black leather holster and two period-correct wartime magazines. The gun itself has retained about 96-97% of its original bluing. There is minor muzzle wear and very light spotty wear along both sides of the slide, concentrated mostly around the high edges. There are a couple of small areas of minor wear at the base of each of the grip straps. A few tiny dots of discoloration on both sides of the frame. Comes with period-correct black bakelite grips. The bore is near-mint.
