32" tapered round barrel, gold-banded at muzzle and breech, with front sight dovetail, Old Reliable inlaid in gold, and Lawrence tangent elevator rear sight.
Highly figured American walnut stocks with schnabel forend tip, classic point-pattern checkering, S-curved pistol grip, classic comb, engraved gold initial oval, and bright-finished crescent steel buttplate.
Sharps 1878 hammerless falling block action with factory engraved hard rubber sidepanel inserts, trigger-lock safety, and mid-range vernier tang sight.
Extensively engraved by Winston Churchill with fine acanthus scroll covering the action, extending four inches onto the barrel from the breech and two inches from the muzzle. Game scene of three Rocky Mountain sheep on left, the central one in three-dimensional gold and a golden buck on right. Signed W. CHURCHILL ENGR. atop breech.
