Description:
24" SxS monoblock barrels with matted raised ramp front sight, smooth swamped rib, sling eye, and raised flat quarter rib with 1 solid standing express sight.
Highly figured European walnut stocks with Deeley-release splinter forend, classic point-pattern checkering, reinforced head of stock, steel-capped pistol grip, sling eye, beaded pancake cheekpiece and pigskin-covered recoil pad.
Bolstered, coin-finished, Anson & Deeley boxlock action with double Purdey underbites, intercepting sears, bushed firing pins, automatic ejectors, articulated front trigger and manual top tang safety, lightly scroll engraved and with a cape buffalo on the underside.
Pull: 14 5/8". Weight: 10lbs, 1oz. In a quality oak and leather trunk case with maker's label, snap caps, extra firing pins in brass striker bottle, leather-trimmed canvassling, factory target and letter from Searcy stating this to be one of only two double rifles actually signed by him. Built 2007. Very little used.
