Description:
7-1/2 inch round barrel chambered in 45 Colt caliber with a near excellent bore showing very light frosting and strong rifling. The barrel and ejector rod housing some nice original blue in the protected areas. The balance is a pewter/brown color with a blend of blue/gray. The cylinder is about the same color. The frame mostly a smokey gray with traces of case color. The trigger still retains strong blue. The screws have faded Nitre blue and look good. The walnut grips are original to the gun and show some light handling wear with just some light flakes to the finish. The action is very crisp. This is an honest looking Colt SAA that has seen plenty of use but shows that is was well taken care of. A great example from 1881.
