This is a built to specs reproduction full sized Napoleon Civil War Field cannon. The #1 field carriage was built by me in 2011. I am unsure of the origin of the tube itself, but it does have the 1/4 thick steel sleeve in the tube for safety. The gun has been fired many, many times with only gun powder and flour (for extra visual experience). The entire carriage was made by me out of solid oak. The 57 inch wheels were made by Witmer Coach Shop in PA. The inside bore on the tube is the 3 inch diameter. This cannon comes with the trail spike, screw rod, ram rod, tube plug, reproduction sponge bucket, and a reproduction limber box built to specs with the copper top and deadhead cypress wood box. The gun comes with everything you need to fire the gun, except the gun powder, and friction primers. The trailer is NOT included in the price of the cannon, however it is for sale for another $1500.00. The trailer has 4 new tires on it.
