W.M Parkhurst – Side By Side - Double Hammer – 357 MAX - Stk #C399
This original Parkhurst double barrel Hammer Shotgun was lined and modified to use the 357 Maximum cartridges with black powder ONLY. It has 26” blued tapered round barrels with a ramped blade front sight and a Williams adjustable rear sight mounted to the matte rib. The bores are in good condition. The checkered Walnut butt stock and forend is in good condition with the exception of some usage marks. The butt stock has a hard plastic buttplate. The locks work as intended and have W.M. Parkhurst on the left lock and machine made on the right lock. The action is tight and functions as it should. Length of pull is 13” and 13-3/4“. Overall length is 42-1/4”. Weight is 7.1 lbs.
