Description:
26" SxS barrels of damascus steel with solid flat rib raised and matted at muzzle for fine bead front sight, and matted from breech to 1 standing and 1 folding platinum-lined express sights, the leaf engraved for 200 yards, and with sling eye.

Figured European walnut stocks with key-fastened splinter forend with inletted and engraved steel finial, pistol-grip triggerguard extension, classic point-pattern checkering wrapping fully under wrist, sling eye, vacant silver initial oval, and smooth high-polish steel buttplate.

Peninsular sidelocks with stalking safeties, double triggers, Jones underlever, and percussion fences. Fine scroll engraved.

Pull: 14 3/8". Weight: 9lbs, 1oz. London black powder proved for 39 bore. Built ca 1875. Retaining 95% barrel brown and 90% original casehardening colors. Mechanically excellent. Tight and with crisp mirror-bright bores. In leather trunk case with innumerable loading tools and maker's label.
