Here is a fairly clean revolver for its age ,being made sometime in 1896. On its 6 inch barrel ls Colts PT F.A. in the top and ending on bottom November 6th 1888.All numbers match,except underneath on grips is scratched different numbers,but are correct original grips and fit good;no cracks,scratches,or bad chips.Hammer is reasonably tight when pulled for ignition and some wiggle in other cycles .which is common for this model.When I say a clean gun for age,its been there;and in spite of time and use it was cared for.I sell my antique guns for display and collecting. If intending to use,one must have checked for safety and correct load by a gunsmith. Though an antique,there are some Cities and States I cannot sell to. And no Canadian sales. PLEASE NOTE = I cannot change title and this Colt is really a model 1895. Even though it had cylinder bolt lockup system,because of low serial number and same barrel patent dates ; I got careless and assumed it was an upgraded Modl 1889. Price adjusted downward.
