Description:
Fully restored Lefever G Grade 12ga 28" with Damascus barrels. LOP is 13 5/8, Drop is 1 3/4 x 2 7/8, Cast is neutral might be 1/16 cast off, chambers are 2 3/4", Choke constriction is .037 and .039, total weight is 7.6 lbs gun is tight and barrels are on face. it has been fully restored, re-finished and re-checkered stock and forend, action has been re-color case hardened and barrels were re-browned. the barrels have I would say an even level of average pitting throughout the bore but I do believe it will clean up, when I got it the bores were pretty dark and I only have an 800 grit flex hone which cleaned it up substantially, with a proper hone the bores will come out fine and the minimum wall thickness is .040 in the right barrel and .035 in the left barrel with the thinnest are of the left barrel reaching just over .030
I HAVE SHOT THIS GUN using black powder loads with absolutely no issues.
