Description:
"Serial number 54. Made in 1860. 44 caliber with a 7 ½" barrel. Very fine example. This gun still retains 50% of the original blue on the barrel. The frame still has bright visible case colors. Cylinder most of the original cylinder scene, Grips have almost all of the original varnish. The early guns had 7 ½" barrels up to about serial number 100. They also all rebated cylinders up to serial number 100, before switching to the fluted cylinder variant, then back to rebated cylinders later in production. This gun is all matching including the lever and the wedge.
