****SOLD**** Presented here is probably one of the best values in a 1911 pistol....Springfield Armory Range Officer in 9mm. The 1911 was designed by John Browning, the 1911 is the best-known of his designs to use the short recoil principle in its basic design. Both the frame and slide are made from forged steel not cast like some other 1911s. The Range Officer has features like extended thumb safety, skeletonized hammer, adjustable rear sight, fiber optic front sight, extended grip safety and a trigger adjustable for overtravel. The attractive grip panels are free of any cracks, chips or dents. This beautiful Springfield has excellent slide to frame fit. The 5 inch barrel is bright with minty, strong rifling. Springfields use a series 70 style firing system. This fine pistol comes with the original box and range kit.
