Description:
This is a rare Krieghoff Luger from 1936 with an S Code on the receiver. There were only about 3,600 of this variation produced. This one is all matching and has the proper Krieghoff "Eagle L 2" Luftwaffe acceptance proofs. It has retained about 93% of its original finish. There is minor thinning and light brown patina on the grip straps. Minor wear on the side plate and very front edges of the side rails. A few light scratches on the left side of the frame. Fitted with an excellent set of period-correct "fine-checkered" Krieghoff grips. Comes with a mismatched Mauser magazine. Very nice bore with good rifling.
