This is a very nice original Civil War Savage Navy Revolver. This example has turned to a nice dark patina with original blue finish showing under. The cylinder has the most traces of original blue that can still be seen. the grips are in good condition. The markings on the top of the frame are excellent and clear. This is one of the most honest and unusued Savages I've handled in quite some time. Mechanically sometimes when the ring lever is cocked it wont fully return and you have to play with it, but sometimes it also cycles exactly as it should. Very clean bore and cylinder chambers. This example has not seen much use at all. I've sold one better with about 30% blue for $7,500, this is priced right and priced to move at $3,650! Shipping is $25 plus actual insurance cost.
