Description:
This original Civil War 1863 Dated Confederate Fayetteville has a nice eye appeal. The lockplate has a nice light patina present with good markings. The barrel shows a pleasent patina. The barrel has the "V,P, and Eagle" proofs. ORiginal "CSA" marked brass buttplate, brass trigger guard, and brass barrel bands. The ram-rod extends a bit past the muzzle. Hammer has one cock then releases properly when the trigger is pulled. This example post war was unfortuantely smooth-bored, (now comes out to about .65). This is a really nice and honest Fayetteville that has a very reasonable price. Arguably the most elegant Confederate longarm because of the unique hammer design! Shipping is $50 plus actual insurance cost.
