SOLD....Being I am 83yrs. old, I have decided to offer a few of my "choice" guns-this just (1) of them..some CW/Indian War guns..anyway, what you see here is a nicely rifled-sharp & clean--NOT a reline as far as I can tell which originally was a 38RF rifle having a 25in. 1/2Rd.-1/2 Oct. Barrel--AND now rechambered to 38S&W Special..!! incl. a quite unusual rear sight having 10 elevator markings 1-10-along w/ a unique falling Block w/extractor to insert-remove cartridges. The mainspring need some adjusting-the firing pin needs replacing as it is already drilled and the Buttstock is a beautiful nicely figured High grade European Walnut & forearm as shown..the BUTT of this rifle has aRARE & unique & unusual checkered BUTT..!..Find another such stock..! No FFL is req'd to ship this item...he Bore is sharp & relatively CLEAN in lands & grooves..looks to be pitting free. Sold As-is-where is..all questions will be replied to.
