Description:
J. Purdey & Sons, 12ga double barrel shotgun made in London, England in 1986 and ANIC (Never Fired). This gun is a piece of art. The case hardened is deep with colors ans the engraving reflects very well. Presented as a "Best Waterfowl" Grade. The barrels length are 30" and chambered in 2-3/4" for heavy loads 3 1/2Ton. The chokes are fixed with 0.01, quartered choke (improved cylinder. US) and 0.04 (full choke US). With a buttstock capped pistol grip, leather pad, and a custom beavertail forearm, the craftsmanship is impeccable. The sidelocks are heavily engraved by hand with extreme detail in English scroll pattern. All comes with the factory leather hard case, personalized dusk cover and all factory accessories shown (rosewood cleaning rods, mop, jag, brush, snap caps, shell extractor, oil bottle). Please look at all photos to see how pristine this gun remains as new and never before fired. A very special custom made gun with providence, prior owner and custom build for well known country music star Hank Williams, Jr. in 1986. Now offered today as a high grade Prudey Best Grade that is very desirable for any Collector. All documentation included, including a letter of provenance. COA included.
