I've got a nice superposed browning 12 gauge. Long tang. According to The Browning Superposed book by Ned Schwing this gun was built in 1938. Nice wood. Overall wood is in great shape, there's a couple scratches. Length of pull is 14 1/4 over a pachymar pad. Gun has been used, but not abused. Honestly don't think it's been used much. There was some barrel work once upon a time by Simmons gun specialties. There was a top rib added. I've never seen another browning without side ribs. I don't know if Simmons removed them or they didn't come from the factory with them. Barrels choked modified and full and 30 inches long. Barrels were reblued I assume by Simmons. Gun is in remarkable shape for its age. This is a nice tight shotgun. I was blown away when I found out how old it was. Doesn't look it or feel like it.
