Payment Types Accepted: usps money order or cashiers check Description:   Available for your consideration here is a very desirable Colt 45 auto military 1911 A1, hard to come by in this good correct original condition. A great deal of time and effort went into the finish on 1911 pistols before this era, but as the war progressed, finishing had to be simplified. As such, this slide is park and the frame is park sandblasted.. as pictured. This particular firearm is well preserved for almost 80 years with nice clean straight lines and prominent sharp edges, very nice refined roll mark depth and definition, and a lite re-assembly mark under the slide lock.. as pictured. There is NO purple haze in the bluing, minimal muzzle wear, no significant marks or wear on slide top or frame bottom.. the grip straps are in good condition with lite wear, and the grips are correct original full checkered walnut in good condition with No damage.
