Here is a late 1918 colt government model of 1911 produced for the military with the new black army finish. Here it is 102 years worn and mostly even throughout the firearm, in pretty good condition overall.. No bad wear marks from holster carry. The course grain metal finish on this gun is exactly how your military model of 1911 should appear. The roll markings have sharp edges with good depth. The back of slide has a vertical H on the top. No significant re-assembly mark on frame.. but maybe some lite pitina in areas. The original double diamond checkered walnut grips are still in pretty good condition with normal wear, the front and rear sights are correct and original.. aligned and with no hits. Also, this gun has the heart shaped frame cuts with sharp edges as it should in this serial number range.. late 1918. The barrel has correct HP interlace marking visible thru the ejection port and is also correct for this serial range.. 409361, one correct 2 tone magazine is included. Fedex second day ship is 45.00 to anywhere in the USA, well insured. FFL is required for transfer, C & R is OK. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns..
