About Us: I am a retiree with a collection of nice firearms accumulated over a period of 15-20 years. Increasingly, I am aware that I can't take them with me, so have decided to sell them over the coming months. My description of each weapon will be as accurate as I can make it, and I will attempt to show any defects in photos. I will not sell a firearm that is functionally defective in any way. If you have questions, I look forward to your call or email.

Description:
Absolutely beautiful describes this 117 year old rifle. It has been beautifully blued and the bolt and all of it's parts polished. The original saphire blueing on the rear sight spring suggests the rifle was in excellent condition when it was blued. The beauty of the wood grain was revealed with a coat of hand rubbed Birchwood Casey Tru-Oil Gun Stock Finish. The muzzle is threaded which permits the attachment of a flash suppressor, which is included. The threaded muzzel also allows for the attachment of a grenade launcher, if you can find one. Also included are five stripper clips for fast reload. I don't not know why the armorors medalian was replaced with an iron disc, but it was that way when I bought it and that is how it is being sold. I am, nevertheless, including a brass medalian for the buyer in case he or she or it chooses to replace the iron disc with the real McCoy. Every single serial number on this rifle matches. No rust anywhere. The bore is shiny with strong rifling.

The Swedes were way ahead of their time when they developed the 6.5X55 Cartridge. 6.5 diameter bullets are increasingly popular today. In fact, the ballistics of the 6.5 Swede are very similar to the popular 6.5 Creedmore.

The buyer pays $70 dollars for insured UPS ground shipping to anywhere within the lower 48.The usual rifle shipping box will be plywood reiforced. FFL is required.
