SALE PENDING. Belgian built FN Mauser 30-06 built in the late 1950s for JC Higgins Co This is the same rifle that FN built for the Browning Safari line of rifles. It has the control feed claw extractor, a checkered walnut stock with a shadowline cheekpiece,and the Mauser flip type safety. This rifle is in excellent original condition. The 22" barrel has a mint bore and a ramp front sight. The rifle has a 4X scope installed that is marked "JC Higgins" but was built by Weaver. This is a classic rifle that goes back to the time when being a hunter and sportsman was part of American life. This rifle is a great value when compared to modern rifles.
