Description:
These Remington Rolling Block 20 Gauge Shotguns were issued to units in the West during the Indian Wars. They were used as forager guns to hunt small game to supplement the diet of the troops. This gun has had the wood refinished and some small parts replaced, but is still a good representation of a Military Shotgun in the 1870's through the 1890;s. It has a 28 inch barrel that has a fairly good lightly pitted bore.
