This Browning A5 Ventilated Rib is a rare Round Knob. It was mfg in the latter years of the Round Knobs (1959),
It has a 28 Inch Vent Rib ** Modified Choke Barrel. The Gun's Bluing is abt 96% including the Barrel, Receiver and Trigger
Housing w/a perfect "Gold Trigger". The Buttstock has no cracks,dents or dings w/perfect Grip Checkering.
The forearm area is the same. The Buttstock & Forearm are abt 97% The action is smooth & tight.
It appears to have been an earlier restoration. It is excellent, possibly restored by someone like Arts Gun Shop.
It was mfg in the year 1959.
I would rate this an an NRA Very Good to Excellent and an excellent candidate for the Browning Round Knob Collector.
