Description:
Here's an original Winchester 1886 in very rare 50 Express caliber. S/N 121402 made in 1900. 75% Barrel Blue with some scattered dings, full length mag tube shows mottled blue. Most of the case colors are worn off, There is no observed rust or pitting anywhere. The wood is in good solid shape with no gouges or cracks, just typical dings but no evidence of sanding. The butt plate is a widow's peak composite/plastic. All mechanical functions appear to be working perfectly and are as smooth as silk. The bore is decent with strong rifling and a few darker patches but nothing dramatic or concerning. A straightforward example in a very difficult caliber to find.
