This pre 1964 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight .243 Win. features a control round feed action, large Mauser style claw extractor for positive feeding and extraction, checkered walnut Monte Carlo stock, hinged floor plate magazine for safe unloading and a three position safety. This rifle shows its age well. Manufactured 1956. .243 Winchester
