Smith & Wesson – Model 1917 - .45 ACP - Stk #C420
This S&W 1917 DA 45 revolver has a 5-1/2” barrel mounted with a blade front sight. The bore has strong rifling but does have some very minor scattered pitting. The top of the barrel is stamped with “Smith & Wesson and multiple patents” along with S&W D.A. 45 on the left side and United States Property on the underside. Stamping on the butt of the frame is ”U.S Army Model 1917”. There is no finish left on this revolver and there is very minor pitting throughout the outside of the barrel and frame. The Walnut grips are in very good condition; with no dents or chips. This revolver is in good condition with the exception of no finish and usage ware. Everything on the gun works and functions as it should. The weight is 2 lbs.
