This versatile model features a black/tan spiderweb stock and matte stainless barrel and receiver. The free-floating fluted stainless barrel unleashes accuracy with every shot. A recessed target crown protects the rifling and fluted construction delivers a stiff barrel profile without excessive weight. Bell and Carlson™ lay-up composite stock delivers a solid feel with trim, lightweight ergonomics; proven reliable over a temperature range of -50°F to 140°F. A textured finish enhances grip in wet conditions. The sculpted cheekpiece promotes proper eye-to-scope alignment from any shooting position. Pachmayr® Decelerator® pad absorbs the recoil sting from high-performance magnum cartridges. Pre'-64 type claw extractor with controlled round feeding allows easy cartridge removal from the chamber after it leaves the magazine. The claw keeps the cartridge aligned entering the chamber. Cartridge feed lips machined into the receiver improve feeding reliability. 3-position safety's middle setting locks the firing pin while allowing bolt operation for a greater margin of safety when checking the chamber or unloading.
