The spring and the plates are made of Z20c13 steel.The dimension of the open knife is 240 mm and 135 mm closed.The scales are made of yew wood, around 1000 years old, from the Écouves forest, topped with old-fashioned quilted rivets..

There isn't a single US maker who makes this type of folder as it is uniquely a French creation.
