This is a Marlin 1883 in 32/20. I've had this rifle for a long time. It was redone before I got it.
I will say this rifle is in great working condition. The metal and wood are both in very good condition.
There is a small chip in the left side near the hammer. The action works as intended. Never an issue. The bore is about a 7.
The pic of the bore is the best I can get. I will say I've never had a tumbling bullet.
I load with FFFG Black powder and pure lead Magtach 115gr. .313 diameter bullet.
I wouldn't say it is a tack driver, however I have a 50 yard range on my property and I pop water bottles and clay pigeons all day long.
Great on squirrels too. The rifle is all original except the firing pin. I installed a new firing pin. There was none in it when I bought it.
With Biden and all the crap he's pulling, now's the time to get a reliable rifle that's off the map, if ya' know what I mean.
Reloading components are easy to get and available on line and most any sporting goods stores.
