Description:
SOLD Up for sale is a very sought after pre-salt era Browning Superposed Pigeon Grade 2 Barrel Set. The 12ga barrels are 26" and marked skeet/skeet, the 20ga barrels are 26" and marked skeet/skeet but measure IC/IC with a choke gauge.
Condition is excellent, retaining 98% original blue finish with a slight rub ahead of the forend, 99% original French Grey finish with absolutely NO finish cracking/crazing, which is extremely hard to find for this era of Pigeon or Pointer grade!! Minimal handling evidence. The wood is very fine with nice grain and a few scattered dings and scratches, very sharp checkering!
