Thanks, Mark Description: I'm looking for any/allspecific information about these banners. If anyone has seen or knows exactly what these were used for, please contact me with the documentation you have. I have not been able to find any reference or information that shows they could be reproductions, but if that information exists, I very much want to know that too.. These are consigned to me to sell and I'm not sure exactly what these are so I can't sell them until I know. I have never encountered anything exactly like these. I have searched the internet and cannot locate any idintical duplicates of these. These are really well made but there certainly are reproduction Third Reich copies of swallowtail flags and schellenbalm banners that are also well made and hand embroidered. The base material is ribbed silk. The white rays and black borders are hand stitched with the bullion embroidery hand done over what appears to be an unterlagen pattern. The black detail stitching appears to also be hand done as is all bullion embroidery. These pictures don't do these justice, collors and details are more vibrant viewed in person.. More detailed pictures are available of these, just ask. Thanks, Mark SOLD |
