Description:
USFA Rodeo with custom touches. 5 1/2 barrel .38 Special. All U.S. manufacture G series. Modified Longhunter style. Action job, serrated front sight, rear sight opened up for faster acquisition.
Hammer was jewelled, but I had Spring Creek Armory remove the jewelling and True case color harden the hammer. I Polished the matte finish to give it a more antique-authentic look. Also the hand spring has been modified for a coil spring.
Grips are Stag, they have no marking, they fit well and look nice with a nice patina starting, I believe they are Sambar.
Now the coolest part, a spare USFA cylinder in 9mm. This was fit and polished nickel plated from John Schultz of Frontier Classics in Texas.
So you can have a Colt Pinto-ish USFA that shoots the cheapest centerfire ammo around!
