Description:
In very good all matching condition I French WWI Mle-1892 Berthier Carbine made by prior to the beginning of WW1 and later converted to a MLE16 at the end of the war. It's difficult to see French Rifles of this era that are even remotely matching, they apparently just did not care. The bore is great, shiny with strong rifling and it is marked for the Balle N cartridge. This still has a French sling as well. During WW1 these carbines were used by the Cavalry, Artillery and Officers in the front lines. These rifles stayed in Service throughout WW2 as well and it is believed that this one is actually a WW2 vet bringback since there is NO IMPORT MARK. This isn't the Royal Tiger piece of junk. Finding French Military Long Arms in great condition has always been a bit of a challenge. I have fired this rifle and it shoots great! Loud to say the least. 55 dollars shipped and insured. Rifle is an antique (1892) so can ship to anyone or a C/R .
