Description:
Extremely fine example of a US contract civil war rifle musket dated 1863. Includes very good bayonet and muzzle plug (not certain if plug is original). The arm was lightly cleaned over 50 years ago but has no repairs as it shows little hard use. Markings on metal and wood are very clear.
