Description:
This Savage Model 99 R was manufactured in 1953 and remains in very good overall condition. Wood is solid with darkening from age and light scratches and dings all over. Very large scratch on bottom forend where sling rubbed. Checkering remains sharp. Gun retains original blue, but has oxidation and some light pitting on barrel and receiver. Light pitting on case colored lever. Bore remains excellent! .300 Savage
