"Winchester 1873 Rifle .38-40. Winchester 1873 Rifle .38-40 Winchester 1873 .38-40 caliber rifle. Made in 1888. .38-40 Caliber with a 24" barrel. Metal has a brownish gray patina. Wood is original with some minor nicks and a large sliver missing from the left hand side of the forearm. Dust cover is missing. Bore has visible rifling with some pitting.
