"Winchester 1876 1st Model Open Top .45-75 caliber rifle. Made in 1877. This gun is serial number 1600. The barrel and frame have a grayish-brown patina with little pitting. The metal has been cleaned and gone over at one time, then a patina applied. Wood is very good as refinished. This gun is in .45-75 caliber. Bore is dark with pitting. Wood looks great and has been refinished. This gun has a special order set trigger. This is an open top model without a dust cover or provision for one. Hard to find.
