Only 524 GNR Mauser banner Luger pistols were delivered to the Portuguese Garde Nationale Republicanie (Republic National Guard). They can be identified by the GNR logo on the top of the chamber and the Mauser banner logo on the toggle. They fall in serial number range 1921v to 2484v. This gun is serial number 2129v. The 4.75"" 7.65mm (30 Luger) barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun retains approx. 98% blue and straw. All numbers, including the grips and magazine, match. The grips are fine with the right having a bruised area toward the top. The action functions correctly. This super condition Mauser banner GNR Luger will never require upgrading. Jump on it!
