The DWM Kreighoff backframe inscription Luger was made by DWM for commercial sales by Kreighoff. The key identifying feature is the KREIGHOFF SUHL stamping just above the lanyard loop on the back of the frame. The 3 7/8"" 7.65mm (30 Luger) barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun retains approx. 98% blue and straw finish. The numbers are matching and in the correct range. The wood base magazine is correctly unnumbered. The pistol has crown over N commercial proofs and the right side of the frame is marked upside down MADE IN GERMANY in very small letters. The unnumbered grips are excellet. The action functions correctly. This scarce gun is ready for the finest collection.
