Ruger No. 1 custom. Built as a commerative honoring the owner's father. 32" octagon barrel 1.075" at breech. Engraved receiver and gold lettering in the center. Gold linlay ".45-70" in the barrel along with the gunsmith/builders name. The receiver gold lettering could be easily removed by your engraver. The barrel is extra long and has a front target sight block installed. This could be cut to 28" removing the sight block and leaving a more balanced looking gun. Beautiful fiddleback Walnut stock with very extensive checkering on the butt and forend. Ebony forend tip and pistol grip cap.
