originall a flintlock and converted to percussion // twigg died in 1792 so converted by another gun smith // marked twigg on both locks and twigg london on barrel rib // crown over cp proof on barrels //9 inch smothbore barrels//15 inches oa / original iron ram rod //locks and safety work fine // nipples good / stock has some original varnish and just normal use for its age no cracks minor dings //looks like steel barrels //bores are vg // probably made for an officer as engraving is sparce // looks like it was used for tiger hunting ??????? ETC. $40 sh i dont see any pitting metal is a brownish patina //the forearm wedge is replaced or the end is broken // ps found a small tight crack by front end of left lock
