Description:
Offered is an Extremely nice S & W No.3 First Model Russian Reject (Russian Contract) Revolver in .44 Russian caliber. The gun is in 90% condition finished off with a real nice set of S&W black factory grips. The gun appears to have been shot very little and is equipt with a 6 1/2" ribbed barrel, bead front sight and adjustable blade rear sight. Matching serial numbers appear on the butt strap, the cylinder and the cylinder latch. The gun is perfect mechanically and the bore is clean with no signs or pitting or corrosion.
This is an absolutely beautiful gun withh only a small stained mark at the midpoint of the bottom of the barrel (appears to be a chemical stain) and the blued finish worn off of the top and bottom of the grip strap. This should be a great addition to any Smith & Wesson collecion as well as a great shooter.
