Description:
This is a late 1870s-early 1880s British double rifle by world famous gunmaker Mortimer and Son. The gun is in very good overall condition and fully functional. Stock is solid so is handguard. Bores are very good, bright with distinct rifling but a little rough overall. Both hammers function properly with safety and full cock notches present. A rare split " toe and heel" buttplate alone is worth about $ 500. No license needed to buy except NJ and NYC residents. Thanks, check my other listings.
