Here is an 1885 Winchester high-wall made in 1896. #3 weight round barrel. Beautiful restored condition with 99%+ bright bluing and bright case colors. When I bought the gun I was told it was a Turnbull restoration but I have no proof of that (nor did the seller) but the case colors look similar to verified Trunbull case coloring. You decide. Regardless, whoever did the work did a fine job. Bore is perfect and the action works as it should. Wood is excellent with a few minor dings. Marbles tang sight with globe front sight. No extra inserts. The caliber, .38-55, is a readily available round (as readily available as any right now) and an accurate shooter which doesn't jar your fillings loose. This rifle will get attention at the range. Shipping and insurance via priority mail included. This rifle is an antique and can ship to your door in most states. NO TEXTS
